When ordinary people use their fingers or bodies, we call those “movements” or “postures,” but when the great sages do the same thing, we call those “mudras” or “full-body mudras.” Why?
When ordinary people make vocal sounds, we call those “speech,” or “singing.” But why do we call the sounds of the sages “mantras?”
Mudras and Mantras are not about ancient Eastern civilizations, especially not their religions; they are about consciousness or energy of consciousness, which is extremely simple and luxurious.
In order to expand and accelerate peoples’ consciousness, we have to discover and redefine the purposes of the human body’s activities. They are not only about survival; they also have other metaphysical potential, even including the ability for self-induced chemotherapy, which is outside our current medical modality.
